Bible Study

Best Bible Study Ever!!!

Please join us for a Lenten Bible Study:

The Passion and Resurrection
Narratives of Jesus.

We will be meeting on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm in the Convent. We are asking for a $15 suggested donation to cover the costs of the materials. If you cannot afford it, please join us anyway!

About the study: This study compares the particular insights found in the passion and resurrection accounts of the four gospels. The core of our faith incorporates both the pain of the cross and the hope of the resurrection into daily living. This study has seven sessions, incorporating an introductory session and 6 lessons. The Study Set includes a Study Guide by Stephen J. Binz, and a commentary, The Passion and Resurrection Narratives of Jesus, by Stephen J. Binz.

About the author: Stephen J. Binz is a biblical scholar, award-winning author, and popular speaker. He studied Scripture at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome and Jerusalem, and has developed dozens of books and programs in biblical theology and spirituality.

About the facilitator: David Friol, one of our parishioners, will be facilitating the study. David has attended many Bible studies at area parishes including the four year program from the Catholic Biblical Studies.
