For Fourteen Holy Helpers Faith Formation Families with Jr & Sr High Students, we are excited to offer, as a Family #7 of Parishes, the Intensive Summer Program this year (Flyer LINK). · Please note that we will still be offering our Fall – Spring program for grades Pre-K through 10.
· During the past number of years 14 Holy Helpers and Queen of Heaven have offered a joint Intensive Summer Program for students in grades 6th – 10th at the 14 HH parish site. With families and students being so busy these days this gives them an opportunity to fulfill their Formation requirements for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. This program is offered at the end of the Academic School year and this year will be held on:
· Wednesday, June 26 – Tuesday, July 2 from 9am – 3pm except the last day ends after lunch @ 1:30 PM- the theme is “Called and Chosen – Sent Two by Two”
· Along with the participation in this intensive week students elect to choose 2 of 3 Ministry/ Service offerings that are required as part of the Summer Program and Sharon Voigt, Adriana Ramirez and Doug George are heading this week. Please note we are setting class size at 15 students per class and will have a waiting list after we reach 15 students per class.
· St John the XXIII Parish has offered in the past and is offering a Summer Program from Monday, July 8th – Friday, July 12th from 8:30am – Noon and the topic is “Prayer” and Jennifer Lang, DRE is heading this week. To register you will need to contact Jennifer Lang. Please note that if you are a student from 14 HH, SJV or Q of H parishes and elect this week you will still need to complete an additional 10 hrs of Formation Studies during the Academic year.
A Summer Fun activity Vacation Bible School (VBS) has been offered in the past and this year we would like to offer the opportunity for the Family of Parishes #7 as well in a joint session. The Theme would be “All God’s Creation” based on Pope Francis Encyclical “Laudato Si”. We are offering this to Grades K – 4 at Queen of Heaven from Monday, August 12- Friday, August 16, 9am – Noon. More details to be sent later.
