Jesus Christ is Risen, Alleluia!
From the Desk of Father David
Dear Parishioners and Friends in Christ,
Praise God! Jesus Christ is Risen, Alleluia!
Jesus’ Resurrection has bathed the whole world in light, darkness will never be totally dark anymore, there will always be a streak of light piercing it. Faith tells us that Jesus in Emmanuel, the God who is with us. Therefore, God’s light is always surrounding us. For us to recognize this truth we need to look for that light, even when the world tells us that it doesn’t exist. You can accomplish this by asking Jesus to help you see as He sees. With God’s grace plus your efforts, it will become more natural to see God’s action in your life, even in difficult situations. Take some time this week to reflect upon the blessings God has showered upon you.
Lent is over and we have completed our Lenten observances. I would like to suggest that you now create your Easter observances. Things you will do during the Easter Season, that will enable you to keep on deepening your relationship with Jesus, His Church, your family, and community. Keep them simple!
Father Mock, Fr. Conrad Stachowiak, Fr. Paul Sabo, Deacon Tom Scherr, Fourteen Holy Helpers Staff, John Willett, and myself would like to wish all of you a blessed and joyous Easter and a Easter Season overflowing with blessings for you and those you care about.
Lord Jesus help us to experience Your presence in every area of our lives. Pour upon us Your blessings, strengthen us, inspire us and guide us with Your Holy Spirit. Amen.
In our Risen Lord,
Fr. David
