The power and beauty of prayer
From the Desk of Father David
Dear Parishioners and Friends in Christ,
Over the past years I have been asked, as a priest you have to deal with so many different situations and problems, how do you do it? The answer is the power of prayer and the support of family, friends, and parishioners. When I say prayer, I am referring to not just my prayer life but also all those wonderful people who pray for me. I have come to learn that praying is entering the heart of God with all that we are. Also, all prayer should lead us to a heart to heart conversation with God. Sometimes my prayers bring me joy and answers, other times it is dull and nothing seems to happen. It doesn’t matter because time with God bears much fruit even in ways we don’t see. May we never underestimate the power and beauty of prayer.
A special thank you to thank everyone who prays for me and supports me. It is because of you that I have been able to minister and accomplish the Lord’s work. A very special thank you to my family for their prayers and support who have guided and blest me over the years.
May the Holy Trinity bless all of you with special blessings and hold you close to His heart.
In Christ’s love,
Fr. David
