A few things

Dear Friends in Christ,

             First, I would like to all those who made our SummerFest a great success.  A king-sized thank you to Chris Luterek, Ginny Stolarski, Tom Wojcik, Rob Crusz, Val Zimniewicz, Roy Grabski, all their committee members, Fourteen Holy Helpers Staff,  all volunteers, those who sold raffle tickets, theme basket items, and all those who supported the event in any way.  The SummerFest was a great success in making our parish shine.  Many people came and had a wonderful time.  Our volunteers were friendly, even though they were hot and tired.  At all the Masses parishioners were welcoming toward our visitors. The Catholic booth distributed a large amount of material and people talked about coming back to the Catholic Church, having grandchildren baptized, and adults wanting to learn the faith.  My heart overflows with gratitude for your generosity and love.  May God bless you abundantly!

Second, last weekend, we took up a second collection to help with the medical expenses of the retired priests of the Diocese of Buffalo.  If you have already given a big thank you, if you have not, please consider giving by writing on an envelope Retried Priests Collection and drop it off at the rectory or in the collection basket.  Also please pray for all priests

Thirdly, in this bulletin there is a list of ministries and activities that I hope you will consider getting involved in this Fall.  Please check them out and see what you want to be involved in.  If you have other ideas or suggestions or you want to be involved in one of these events, please inform the rectory.

Almighty God we thank you for all the blessings you shower upon our parish.
