Easter Thanks

From the Desk of Father David

Dear Friends in Christ,

              This Holy Week and Easter celebrations were outstanding and my heart is full of gratitude to God and all the wonderful people who made them possible and to those who attended.  A special thank you to Fr. Mock and Fr. Conrad for your gift of priesthood and your spiritual homilies.  Thank you to the Decorating Committee who made our Church look magnificent.  You are very  talented.  Thank you to those who accented the celebrations with beautiful music: Patrick Barrett and the Adult Choir who were at the Holy Week and Easter celebrations, Debbie Dalessandro and the seven young adults who sang at the Holy Saturday Vigil, and the Voices of Praise who were at the 12 Noon Mass.  Thank you also to the Lectors, Altar Servers, Eucharistic Ministers, Greeters and Ushers, who by your ministries helped people to experience Jesus.

A special thank you to the Fourteen Holy Helpers Staff: Suzanne Pionessa who worked tirelessly to make Lent and Easter special and for live streaming the celebrations.  Thank you to Sister Conchetta and Beth who interpreted the celebrations for the deaf parishioners.  For Anne Marie Gaik, Rick Donovan, David Friol, Sr. Elizabeth who are always working behind the scenes to make our parish shine.  Finally thank you to all who attended in person or via livestream, because without you all of this would have been in vain.  It is my hope that we were able to strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ.

May the Risen Lord Jesus enable you to focus on Him, enabling you to draw strength from His divine presence.  May He shower you with His light, peace, love and the ability to see Him as  your companion.
