Take time for a Prayer
From the Desk of Father David
Dear Parishioners and Friends,
The past few months have been very challenging for me with my mother’s illness, her death and the Holidays. Both of my parents taught me by their example to have a strong faith and trust in Jesus, always be learning something new, keep life simple, love much, do your best and respect everyone. Their lives were a special blessing for me. You have also been a blessing for me. Your support, best wishes, condolences and especially your prayers have carried me through this difficult time. Therefore I want to say a heartfelt thank you to each of you. The number of condolences, prayers, masses, sympathy cards, Christmas cards were overwhelming. My family and myself are very grateful for this outpouring of love for us. I encourage you to take sometime to say a prayer for the special people in your life and thank them.
As the Christmas Season comes to an end, it is my prayer that you know the love of God, family and friends throughout 2022. May Jesus, who is Emmanuel, help you to know that He walks with you as your Shepherd.
In Christmas peace,
Fr. David
