Learning from Nature
From the Desk of Father David
Dear Parishioners and Friends,
Different Saints through the centuries talked about learning from nature. They referred to it as Natural Law. There is so much we can learn from nature because it reflects the Creator. Here are two examples:

Advice from the Night Sky

See the big picture
Be a star
Keep looking up
Don’t be afraid of the dark
Stay full of wonder
Expand your horizons
Turn off the Lights!
When I read the line be a star, it reminded me of all those sailors who have been guided by the light of the stars. May your light shine brightly so that it will guide others.
May God open our eyes to see His kingdom everywhere. May the light of Christ shatter the darkness in the world, so we will see His loving presence in our lives and in our troubled world.
Peace,
Fr. David
