Need for Renewal

Dear Friends in Christ,

             The Diocese of Buffalo is going through a process called the Road to Renewal.  This is not a program like the ones we did in the past.  It is a way to renew the Diocese all the way to the people in the pews.  For it to succeed, priests, deacons, staffs, both Diocesan and parish, and the people in the pews must be willing to be renewed.  This is the same call we hear every lent to center our lives on Christ.  Everyone needs to be willing to take a good long look at their lives and figure out how they can better think, speak, and act like Christ.  Our parish has to also figure out how we can better mirror Christ to the surrounding community.  This renewal will bring about many blessings to our Diocese.  It is designed to revitalize all the parishes.  There are other Dioceses who have also embarked on journey of renewal.
