Dear Friends in Christ,
Jesus is Risen! Praise God! Alleluia!
When Jesus appeared to the Disciples He greeted them with “peace be with you.” Jesus wanted them to know it was going to be alright. He fully understood why they abandoned Him. The Resurrection proved that God is stronger than all evil and He can bring good out of evil. Jesus offers the reassurance that He would be with them forever transforming evil into good. Jesus also says to us, “peace be with you!” We are seeing His presence in our world today as possible cures for the virus are being discovered, organizations helping each other, states sending needed supplies to other states and countries helping other countries. The power of God is answering our prayers and He is working right along side of us. God has not abandoned us. Jesus is keeping His promise to shepherd us. After asking the Holy Spirit for guidance, reflect upon how Jesus is present in your life and those of your loved ones.
The Blessed Virgin Mary suffered greatly at seeing her Son, Jesus, suffer and die. Imagine how great her joy was when she found out that the prophesy was fulfilled, He had risen During this troubled time, my prayer for you and your loved ones is that your joy this Easter will equal Mary’s joy at Jesus’ resurrection and the Holy Family will surround us with their protective love. Alleluia, Alleluia!
