Dear Friends in Christ,

God of surprises!  Who would have expected the King of Glory to be born into a poor family, or to be a carpenter for 30 years and then an itinerant preacher for the last few years of His life.  Who would have expected the Creator of the stars to be tortured and die on a cross for our sins.  If we want to find Jesus, we need to slow down, become silent, and look for Him in the simple and humble events of life.

How will the upcoming Advent and Christmas celebrations guide us in dealing with the problems we face in our families, church and world?  There is a connection between faith and life, what is it?  I would greatly appreciate hearing from you, so please drop me a note or an email with your thoughts.

Lord Jesus help us to stay young at heart so we can experience You in the wonder of creation, in the people we meet and in the sacred celebrations of our faith and families.
