How much do you love Jesus? … 29-Jul-2018

Dear Friends in Christ,

The past couple of weeks my homily focused on the depth of God’s love for us.  I used the image of Niagara Falls to symbolize God’s great love pouring upon us.  Last weekend, Fr. Michael, the missionary asked us to express our love by supporting his Diocese in Nigeria.  I would like you to reflect upon this question: how much do you love Jesus? Do you love Him enough to make an effort to come to mass early and spiritually prepare yourself for this great celebration; do you stay until the final blessing; do you try to be present for the prayers and readings; do you try to forgive and love others?

We are the beloved of God, therefore we are called to love God with all that we are, and to love our neighbor as ourself.

May you allow the Lord Jesus to fill you with with Divine love and may this love heal you and flow out to others.
